Feeling Lighter
Hi friend,
Happy Monday! Stopping by today to send you some inspiration for your week.
I know life can bog us down. The responsibilities we feel are no joke. There can be so many plates we have spinning at the same time. The idea of making space for relaxation, fun or the things you truly enjoy sound heavenly, but you wonder how? And the fact that life is so full and challenging can leave you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and on the verge of tears.
And here’s the thing. We aren’t here to suffer through life. Learning and expanding beyond our current messy experiences is possible, and freedom lives on the other side. But it takes practice. It takes consistency. It takes awareness…to live freely.
One practice that helps bring awareness to your life is having a daily check-in and asking yourself:
What lights me up?
Knowing what lights you up is the first step. Once you remember all the things, experiences, activities, places and people that light you up, just thinking about them can help you feel…lighter.
Then, the next step is…make space in your weekly calendar to do something that lights you up…not for any other reason except to have some fun. Schedule it!
Play.
Joy.
Lightness of being.
It’s all your birthright. It’s your true nature. Beyond the conditioning, the programing, the past. Beyond your habits and thoughts. Beyond the responsibilities and the plates spinning.
Your natural and authentic way of being in the flow comes when you make space for what matters most to you and honor what lights you up.
We’ll be exploring this and more in my upcoming free Zoom Call: Vibrant Visions. This is the first of my new series, “Let’s Play Thursday.”
I’d love for you to join me - Thursday, February 8th, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. Central online.
Grab your favorite drink, journal and a pen. We’ll have a short time to start a vision board so you might want to gather a few magazines, scissors or a glue stick, or start collecting images on a Pinterest Board with this question in mind: What lights me up?
Simply hit reply to this email if you’re interested in joining for free and I’ll send you the Zoom info to access our call.
Be well and keep following what lights you up. It’s the key to why you’re here.
With love,
Shannon
